Paul Davenport Head Coach

Paul Davenport - Head Coach
Davenport begins his second season as the head coach of the Hill College men's and women's soccer programs.

Davenport played for American Eagles/DFW Tornadoes soccer club for 11 years and played at the collegiate level for Texas A&M-Commerce for two. He went on to serve as a volunteer coach for the women's soccer team at Commerce until graduating in December of 2008.

Davenport served as director of operations for the TCU women's soccer team for the past three and a half years and finished as the interim assistant coach in the spring season. He served as a middle school soccer coach at Fort Worth Country Day School and helped lead the boys' team to their first winning season. He went on to serve as soccer coach at Nolan Catholic High School, and led the junior varsity team to back-to-back district titles and assisted the varsity to a state title.

Davenport is a native of Irving, Texas.



Matt Walusimbi Assistant Coach

Matt Walusimbi - Assistant Coach
Walusimbi begins his first year with the Rebels as an assistant coach.

Walusimbi has coached at the high school level for Fort Worth Nolan Catholic for the past seven years.

Walusimbi's youth career started with Texas Lightning 84 before heading to Nolan Catholic where he earned two state championship rings while playing for the 2001 and 2003 squads.

As a coach, Walusimbi won three more as an assistant coach for the 2006, 2011 and 2012 squads.

Walusimbi earned his bachelor's from the University of Texas at Arlington and currently holds a NTSA D license. He currently lives in Mansfield, Texas.
