$5 Haircut, Other Services Available From HC Cosmetology

Remember the $5 hair cut? You can still get one at Hill College. It’s all part of the practical, hands-on training that the college’s cosmetology students receive.

"Working on clients from the community not only allows students to fine tune their cosmetology skills, but also provides them with the customer service skills needed to succeed in the real world," said Cosmetology Department Coordinator Jenny Adler.

"Students are supervised by instructors who have several years of professional and education experience," Adler added.

The department is offering a variety of services at discounted prices this summer. In addition to the $5 haircut, which is available on Thursdays and includes shampoo and blow-dry, services include a $15 manicure and pedicure on Mondays, including gel polish on the manicure. On Wednesdays, patrons can receive highlights with haircut and set for $25. Tuesdays are Senior Day, allowing persons age 55 or over to receive a perm, haircut and set for $20.

Services are available at the Hillsboro and Cleburne Campuses and at the Glen Rose Center. Click here for times and location information.
