Hill College Men’s Rodeo Team named Southern Region Reserve Champions and one from Women’s Rodeo Team heading to College National Finals Rodeo in June
Hill College Men’s Rodeo Team was named NIRA (National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association) Southern Region Reserved Champions at their last rodeo of the season at Wharton Junior College, only 500 points behind Sam Houston State University. The Women’s Rodeo team ended the season in fifth place.

Hill College’s Cosmetology Program hosted an inaugural CHI-Hill College Cosmetology Launch Party and Senior Show Case Fashion Show Monday evening, April 24, at the Liberty Event Center in Cleburne.

HILLSBORO, TEXAS-- The Xi Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Hill College held their spring induction ceremony on April 4 in the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center at the Hillsboro campus. Over 70 students were inducted into the chapter. The chapter presented stoles of gratitude to Dr. Pam Boehm, President, Mr. Rex Parcells, Vice President of Instruction, Ms. Nancy Holland, Executive Director of Community Relations, and Ms. Nancy McKenzie, Dean of Arts & Humanities.
HILLSBORO, TEXAS-- Hill College Rebels Men’s Basketball team members Davion Turner, KJ Malveau, Braxton Shaw, Jaques Lukusa, and Narcisse Kalamba have been chosen for the NTJCAA All-Conference Honors, Second team All-Conference, and Honorable Mention for Men’s Basketball.
HILLSBORO, TEXAS-- Nineteen Hill College sophomore student athletes have been placed on the NTJCAC All-Academic Team for the 2016-2017 year. To qualify for the Academic All-Conference team, a student-athlete must have completed three semesters of college work with a minimum of 36 hours of courses that lead to a degree, and must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA. They also must have participated in at least one season on the varsity level at the college from which they are nominated.

Boots & Suits Gala raises over $67,000 for hill College scholarships, fire science program and sports center upgrades and recognizes the 2017 Pillars of the Community
The 12th annual Hill College Boots & Suits Gala was held March 24 at the Cleburne Conference Center and raised over $67,000 to benefit Hill College district-wide scholarships for students, Bob Bullock Sports Center facility upgrades and the Fire Protection Technology program.
