Hill College softball players selected for All-Conference Teams, Ebner named Co-Coach of the Year

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) 2017-18 All-Conference Softball Teams have been announced.

Hill College sophomore Alyssa De Los Santos of San Marcos was selected as First Team All-Conference Infielder and freshman Christina Garcia of McAllen was selected as First Team All-Conference Outfielder. Sophomore Mariah Delgado of San Marcos was selected as Second Team All-Conference Catcher and sophomore Omni Garcia of San Antonio was selected as Second Team All-Conference Infielder. Freshman Briana Cantu of Angleton and sophomore Helena Febre of Missouri City were named Second Team All-Conference Outfielders.

Head Coach Leigh Ebner, who was selected as National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 5 Women’s Director this spring, was named Co-Coach of the Year.

The fifth-seeded Hill College softball team will begin postseason play Friday, May 4, at 2:30 p.m. against fourth-seeded North Central Texas College in the NJCAA Region 5 North Softball Tournament.
