Hill College will host the 2018 Commencement Ceremony in Cleburne May 10

Hill College will host its 2018 commencement ceremony Thursday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at the Cleburne Conference Center, 1501 W. Henderson Street. The College alternates the ceremony between Hillsboro and Cleburne for the convenience of location for students and families in the community college service area. 

Degrees will be awarded for Associate of Arts; Field of Study; Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science Technical-Vocational Programs. Certificate of Technology and Certificate of Completion will be awarded for Technical-Vocational Programs. Occupational Skills Awards will also be awarded. The degrees represent nearly 40 fields of study. 

“We are extremely proud of all of our graduates,” said Hill College President Dr. Pam Boehm. “They have worked hard and we are excited to celebrate this wonderful achievement with them.”

After the processional, welcome and invocation, Boehm will recognize all active military and veterans. Hillsboro, Cleburne and Burleson Chambers of Commerce will present a student of the year awards for their respective communities. Honor graduates will be recognized by Vice President of Student Services Lizza Trenkle. Vice President of Instruction Rex Parcells will certify the candidates, and Boehm will present the degrees with Board of Regents President David Teel.

Each candidate for graduation will be provided with four tickets for attendees.
