Hill College will host its eighth annual Boots and Suits Ball at 6:30 p.m., Sat., May 11, at the Cleburne Conference Center in Cleburne, Texas, benefiting the Hill College Emergency Medical Services Professions. It will be an evening of dining, music, dancing and fundraising.

“The Light Crust Doughboys are on the air!” Texas Heritage Museum’s newest temporary exhibit is the history of the Light Crust Doughboys--the longest-running band in the history of recorded music. They are also credited with inventing Western Swing music.
