Hill College-Burleson Expands Science Classes
BURLESON – The days of traveling to the Hill College district’s other campuses will be a thing of the past for Hill College-Burleson students taking science classes this fall. Students now have the opportunity to fulfill their two lab science requirements in Burleson.
“We have waited eight years for this time to come,” Dean Nancy Holland said. “We are so excited to be able to offer this wonderful opportunity to our students in Burleson!”
This fall, Hill College-Burleson will offer lecture courses with the lab in Environmental Geology and General Biology for Non-Majors. Two physics labs, Stars & Galaxies and Solar Systems are also offered.
“We are pleased to begin offering science classes with laboratory components at Hill College center in Burleson,” Hill College President Dr. Sheryl Kappus said. “This will allow students to get an entire Associate’s Degree at Hill College in the Burleson center. We are also offering classes leading to the Registered Nursing degree this fall, and will offer the full nursing program in Burleson no later than fall 2014.”
