Hill College Celebrates 90th Anniversary

HILLSBORO – Hill College celebrates its 90th anniversary this week with a host of events coinciding with Hillsboro’s Cotton Pickin’ Fair. The fun includes athletic events, reunions and a ranch rodeo.

Hill College Band and Choirs To Perform At State Fair

DALLAS – The Hill College Jazz Band and Choirs will perform noon – 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, in the Food and Fiber Building at the State Fair of Texas. Both groups will also perform a free concert 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 3, in the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center on the Hillsboro Campus.

Lady Rebels Defeat Temple in Four Sets

TEMPLE –  The Lady Rebel volleyball team defeated Temple College in four sets Tuesday night in Temple. The win improves the Lady Rebels' record to 11-4 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

Dedication Ceremony for Wallace Welding Building September 19

HILLSBORO – Welding students on the Hill College Hillsboro Campus are taking classes in a brand new, state-of-the-art building located Wallace Campus, south of the main campus. The Wallace Welding and Industrial Maintenance Building will be dedicated 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, September 19.

HC Volleyball Home Opener Against Eastfield College This Thursday

HILLSBORO – With wins over nationally ranked San Jacinto College (#4) and Western Texas College (#20), the Hill College Volleyball team is off to their best start in over five years with a 8-3 record. The Lady Rebels will host Eastfield College this Thursday in their home season opener.

Early Season Success For Hill College Soccer

HILLSBORO – Coming off their first winning season in program history, Hill College Rebel Soccer has a 3-0 record after defeating conference rival Ranger 1-0, Tuesday afternoon at Wallace Park in Hillsboro. The Lady Rebels also defeated Ranger (5-1) to improve their record to 2-2 this season.

Study Abroad Opportunities at Hill College

Add Study Abroad to the growing list of options for Hill College students, whether they seek academic credit or continuing and workforce education. Beginning this summer, during the first summer session of 2014, students will be able to travel to Quito, Ecuador, to take classes, live with a Spanish-speaking family and travel as a group.
