Hill College Offers Unique Way to Thank Administrative Professionals

04.11.16

With Administrative Professionals Day approaching, Hill College is offering a unique way for supervisors to thank their staff by hosting “Lunch and Learn: A Salute to Administrative Professionals” on Thursday, April 28.

The event includes both lunch and training. It also affords participants an opportunity to network with others who perform similar jobs.

“While traditional gifts include flowers and gift baskets, the lunch and learn provides the gift of professional development in environment where attendees will feel pampered,” said Hill College Office Administration coordinator Helen Rose.

The topic of the program will be Digital Organization: Tools, Trends and Tips. It will be preceded by a welcome from Hill College President, Dr. Pam Boehm, who began her career at the college doing administrative duties.

The lunch and learn is open to all employees, including supervisors who may want to accompany their staff.

The event gets underway at 11:30 a.m. in the college’s Performing Arts Center and concludes at 1:30 p.m. The $25 cost includes lunch, gift and a certificate acknowledging completion of the class.

To register their administrative professionals or themselves, persons should visit the Hill College webpage at www.hillcollege.edu/cwe. They may also call 817-760-5820 for more information or to register.

Created as National Secretary's Day in 1952, Administrative Professionals Week is April 24-30.
