Transfer Services

Start Planning Your Transfer Early

As students complete their Associates Degrees at Hill College, they are encouraged to continue their education at four-year universities. Each year students meet with Transfer Advisors:  Debra Drake (TRiO) in Hillsboro, Jodie Stevens in Hillsboro, and Melanie Betz in Cleburne to learn about admissions, financial aid, and degree plans in preparation for transferring to four-year universities. Each year, College Day is held at Hill College with representatives from four-year universities with the purpose of assisting students with planning thier transfer to a university.  The Hill County Campus hosts this event in the fall and the Johnson County Campus hosts this event in the spring.  This very successful day is sponsored by the TRIO program in Hillsboro and the Academic Advising and Student Success Center in Cleburne.  This event is beneficial to all Hill College students. In Cleburne, the Academic Advising and Student Success Center reaches out to local high schools with Ambassadors Day events, visiting schools and providing information about the college and programs of study to students.  For more information, call one of our Transfer Advisors:   Debra Drake (TRiO) at (254)659-7659, Jodie Stevens (Hillsboro) at 254-659-7651 and Melanie Betz (Cleburne) at 817-760-5654.
