Intermediate/Paramedic

  1. Attendance in all instructional and skills labs is mandatory. The intermediate and paramedic programs require students to attend many of the laboratory classes on Saturdays. 2. Any student that is absent from any scheduled class or lab, must advise the coordinator within twenty-four (24) hours of the missed class date. Any student that fails to attend a scheduled mandatory class or lab will be dropped from the course. This includes the Saturday classes, which are all mandatory classes. Failure to advise the course coordinator of any absence will result in disciplinary action to include removal from the advanced training course.

  3. It is the responsibility of each individual student to understand the knowledge and skills objectives in the EMT Intermediate and Paramedic courses. The following courses are offered each semester. The textbooks required include the Brady Paramedic Care series Volumes 1-5.
