Program Objectives

1. The curriculum will provide the student with the knowledge and skills to be a safe and competent vocational nurse.
2. The curriculum will provide the student the opportunity to utilize critical thinking skills in identifying nursing/patient care goals based on the individual needs and capabilities.
3. The curriculum will emphasize content relevant to health and nursing care of individuals and families. This collaborative process will be part of a larger community system and other health care professionals.
