Welcome to Health Sciences
Thank you for your interest in the Hill College Health Science Department.
We offer a wide variety of Health Career options that meets the needs of today’s modern workforce. Our Health Care programs use the latest technology within the classroom, laboratory and clinical setting. These teaching tools are designed to ensure that the Health Care student is given a wide variety of traditional lecture, Simulation experience and hands on experience in the hospital setting. The student upon graduation will have the knowledge and confidence to enter their health care employment field of choice.
Hill College maintains an open admission policy; however, the number of nursing students that can be accepted is limited by the Texas Board of Nursing for the State of Texas and the availability of clinical instruction facilities. Hill College will take the top candidates who receive the highest total points. In the event of a tie, the candidate with the highest points in the required areas will be given first priority. Hill College reserves the right to refuse admission to the nursing program to any applicant whose application is deemed unsatisfactory.
