Hill College residence hall students learn safety tips from guest speaker representing Family Abuse Center


Hill College students currently residing in Dudley, Frazier and Bailey residence halls had an opportunity to hear a presentation about domestic violence, stalking and harassment from a guest speaker with the Family Abuse Center in Waco on Jan. 21 in the Vara Daniel Performing Arts Center in Hillsboro.

Hill College partners with USA Offshore to offer free two-week training class


Hill College, in partnership with Hillsboro-based USA Offshore, will host a two-week Introduction to Oil and Gas Industry training course Feb. 15-26 at the Hill County Campus in Hillsboro.

Laguna Park resident Mike Stell has graciously donated several Civil War relics from the Battle of Valverde (New Mexico, 1862) to the Texas Heritage Museum at Hill College in Hillsboro.

Hill College received notification on Monday that it has received initial accreditation for a Cardiovascular Technology – Adult Echocardiography Associate Degree Program by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

A two-time Olympic gold medalist in pole vaulting – and the first person ever to appear on a Wheaties cereal box – will be this year’s speaker at the Hill College Alden J. Blanar Smith Speaker Series on Feb. 15 in the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center in Hillsboro.

Hill College Student Selected to All-State Band


Olivia Santos, a student from Hill College in Hillsboro, has been invited to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio as part of the All-State Symphonic Band.
