Hill College Performing Arts Series welcomes Heavenly Voices Gospel Choir on Feb. 29
Hill College will host the Heavenly Gospel Choir from Baylor on Feb. 29 as part of its Performing Arts Series.
The group will perform in the Hill College Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Established in 1988, this group of students, sponsored by Academic Support Advisor Ronald English, travel throughout Texas singing and performing community service, effectively touching the lives of others while seeking to grow spiritually themselves. Their repertoire leans heavily on contemporary gospel, with songs by the likes of Israel Houghton, New Breed and Kirk Franklin with the occasional arrangement by a member of the group.
As always, this performance is provided to the community free of charge thanks to the generosity of college and community donors. No tickets are required and seating is first come-first served. A reception hosted by the Monday Review Club will follow the performance.
If you would like to support the Hill College Performing Arts Series, you are invited to become a Benefactor ($100), a Sustainer ($50), a Patron ($25), or a Supporter ($10) of the Hill College Performing Arts Series.
