Long-time Hill College Board member Jim Cato steps down after 32 years
Jim Cato was recently honored for his 32 years of service as a Hill College Board of Regents member during the March Board of Regents meeting in Hillsboro.
Cato, who lives in Whitney, had been a member of the Board of Regents since 1984.
"The years that I have been allowed to serve on the Hill College Board of Regents has been the most rewarding experience in public service than any other in my life,” Cato said in a statement.
Following his retirement from the Board of Regents, Cato’s position on the board was replaced by Jennifer Nowlin of Whitney.
