Hill College JCC Welding Competes in Monster Duck Race

Saturday, April 26th, the Hill College JCC Welding Department competed in the Monster Duck Race. The event was sponsored by the Buffalo Creek Association as part of Springfest in Cleburne, TX. The department had a total of three entries that were built by students and they made a clean sweep with first, second, and third place finishes. This is the departments third year to enter the event and the first year to place. The winning duck was powered by a Nitro fueled RC airplane engine. The second place duck was powered by a 26cc weedeater engine, and the third place duck was powered by an electric motor.
