Community invited to Hill College Let’s Get Technical Open House in Hillsboro

HILLSBORO, TEXAS---The community is invited to Hill College’s interactive “Let’s Get Technical” event Thursday, March 30, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the College’s Wallace campus at 1800 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro.

Featured programs will include; Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Science, Computer Science, Cosmetology, Child Development, Criminal Justice, Office Administration and RV Technician. Activities will range from virtual welding, echocardiograms and calf roping, to laser-shot simulation, finger printing and mini-manicures.

 Hill College instructors and enrollment services staff will be on hand to answer questions related to College admissions and financial aid. Goodie bags, hot dogs and door prizes will be part of the event for the first 100 visitors.

The Wallace Campus consists of the Nursing/Cosmetology Building, facing Highway 22 (Corsicana Highway near McDonald’s), and the Welding Building located behind the Nursing/Cosmetology Building on 197 CR 3108.
