2016-2017 Hill College Women’s Basketball NJCAA Region V All-Conference & All-Region Honors

Hillsboro, Texas--Hill College Lady Rebels Women’s Basketball team members Kynese Davis, Celina, Texas; Chelsea Adams, Dallas, Texas; Lexi Burns, Keller, Texas; and Faith Dimerson, Waco, Texas; have been chosen for the NTJCAA All-Conference Honors for Women's Basketball & Region V Women’s Basketball All-Region Honor Teams.

Sophomores Davis and Adams were nominated to the NTJCAA Region V First Team All-Conference Team.

 Kynese DavisDavis, a 5-foot-7 wing, averaged 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and 5.1 assists per game this season. Her conference rankings included: 10th in field goal percentage, 8th in free throw percentage, 1st in assists, and 7th in steals. Davis also ranked in the Regional category as: 21st in scoring, 30th in field goal percentage, 12th in free throw percentage, 25th in rebounding, 10th in steals, 1st in assists. Davis was also placed on the NJCAA Region V Division 1 All-Region Honor Team

 Chelsea AdamsDuring the season Adams, a 5-10 wing, averaged 11.6 Points per game, 6.9 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 1.3 assists. Her conference category ranking was: 8th in scoring, 4th in field goal percentage, and 4th in rebounding. In regional category rankings Adams was: 11th in scoring, 13th in field goal percentage, 16th in free throw percentage, and 10th in rebounding.

 Burns and Dimerson, also sophomores, were named NTJCAA Region V All-Conference Honorable Mention players.

Burns, a 5-7 wing, was averaging 11.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and 0.9 assists per game during the season. Her conference category rankings were: 7th in scoring, 2nd in three-point percentage, 2nd free throw percentage, 9th in steals. In regional category ranking Burns was: 16th in scoring, 34th in field goal percentage, 8th in 3-point percentage, 3rd in free throw percentage.

 Faith DimersonDimerson, a 5-11 post, had season averages of: 7.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.5 assists per game. Her regional category rankings were: 44th in scoring, 14th in field goal percentage, 31st in rebounding, 50th in steals.
