Hill College Soccer teams finish 2018 season with accolades

The Hill College men’s and women’s soccer teams round out their year with a total of 16 athletes receiving accolades.
Head Coach Paul Davenport, who was voted Coach of the Year by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 5, led the Lady Rebels to a 13-2 season and 6-0 in conference play. They were conference champions, Region 5 champions and runner up in the District Plains Tournament. Ultimately, the team was only one game shy of making the national tournament. Ten Hill College soccer players were selected for the NJCAA Region 5 Soccer Awards. The following athletes were chosen by coaches in the NJCAA:

The men’s squad, also led by Davenport, finished their season losing out in the semifinal game of the Region 5 Tournament. With a 9-4 record overall and a 3-1 conference play record, the men’s team had eight players achieving awards.
