Every time you give, a student wins. Financial gifts, in any form, benefit the students that come to Hill College, whether they are beginning their journey in higher education, furthering their education, developing trade skills, or focusing on their academic and athletic careers. By giving to any one of the funds below, your support keeps the college alive.
In 2023, in celebration of the college’s centennial anniversary, an endowment campaign was created to support annual scholarships for students. Donations to this campaign support specific degree programs with the hopes of extending scholarship funds to additional programs for the future. This endowment fund provides students with the financial support needed to get an education and become essential assets to the communities they serve.
As part of the 30th anniversary of the Phillip H. Lowe Performing Arts Series last year, the college launched a fundraising campaign for the series, “30 for 30,” to support future programming. Funds raised ensure that the performing arts at Hill College will continue to offer the exciting performances that audiences have come to expect.
The Century Club is a group of individuals and businesses that is focused on furthering the college’s mission. As a membership-driven initiative, the Century Club provides annual financial support to the college to enable projects that are not funded by federal, state, or local dollars. These resources are essential and allow the college to complete a variety of meaningful projects that would otherwise not be possible.
One of the crowning jewels of Hill College is the Texas Heritage Museum. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the museum is a repository of Texas history. With artifacts spanning form the Texas Republic through the Vietnam War as well as the Official Texas State Medal of Honor Memorial, it presents relevant exhibitions for Texas history enthusiasts, historians, veterans, and students of any age interested in learning more about history. Memberships to the museum support quality exhibitions, programming, and the preservation of Texas history.
In addition to a membership, the museum has a brick program that allows individuals to sponsor a brick in dedication to veterans, family members, current or former students, or an organization. Bricks are engraved and placed in front of the Medal of Honor Memorial and proceeds support the museum and maintenance of the memorial.
Other giving options that make a significant impact on the college’s ability to continue to serve students and the community include planned giving through the Hill College Foundation, matching gifts, and in-kind gifts. These gifts are all essential to the college’s mission and allow donors to individualize their giving goals.
Whichever way you choose to give, your donation makes a difference! For more information, contact Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Ashlee Ferguson at aferguson@hillcollege.edu or 254.659.7808.
