The Texas Heritage Museum

Visit our Alumni exhibit 100th Year Celebration: Hill College Artifacts from The Texas Heritage Museum Collection.  

The Texas Heritage Museum at Hill College has achieved accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the highest national recognition afforded the nation’s museums. Accreditation signifies excellence to the museum community, to governments, funders, outside agencies, and to the museum-going public. Read all about it here.

You may purchase an engraved brick for a loved one, veteran, or dedicate a brick for your graduating class, for the Centennial Celebration, to be placed in the Official Texas State Medal of Honor Memorial to Native-Born Texans walkway located on the Hill County Campus in front of the Texas Heritage Museum. Bricks can be purchased for $100.00, but if you sign up for a membership with the Texas Heritage Museum, you may also purchase a brick at the special discounted price of $75.00. Job Training & Workforce Partnerships Initiative

Visit our Job Training & Workforce Partnerships Initiative in the Welcome Center, showcasing the newest course and program offerings through Protrain and Ed2Go. Check out all the fun we had at Kids College this summer with our inaugual Kids College on the Johnson County campus and plans to expand to Burleson summer 2024. Their space is located on the southwest side of the cafeteria at the back of the building is also available to rent for community events, seminars, or workshops.

  


A Centennial Celebration of Arts and Humanities at Hill College

Discover a historical display of drama productions, musical performances, English journals and other similar artifacts from Hill College past in the Instruction Building, Room 203. 

  


100 Years of STEM

Discover the development and advancements of science since Hill College opened in 1923, including specimens and old equipment and how it has modernized.

  


Nursing through the Years at Hill College

Our Nursing Department will host an exhibit of nursing through the years at Hill College. The exhibit will consist of memorabilia, scrapbooks, photos and composites. The exhibit will focus on the experience and journey of being a nursing student at Hill College and how that has changed over the past century. We will have 2-3 stations for guests to view items and collect information on display.

Alumni Softball Game

Come and watch your current Rebels Softball team take on former Rebels at the Softball Field at 12 p.m. Listen to music, grab a snack, and watch some friendly competition! Bring your friends and family and let’s celebrate the rich history of Hill College’s Softball Program. If you’re a former Rebel Softballer and would like to play in the game, please reach out to Head Coach Allora Miller at amiller@hillcollege.edu.
