Threats to data security are increasing exponentially and businesses across the globe are in need of trained, experienced cybersecurity experts to protect and secure their data and the integrity of their operating systems. Cybersecurity is a fast-growing industry and is projected to grow at an annual rate of approximately 12% through 2030.

Recognized by the National Security Administration, Hill College’s Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in Networking Security offers students a pathway to an Associate of Applied Science degree in computer science, a total of 60 transferrable credit hours.

The program introduces students to the fundamentals of cybersecurity as well as systems defense, data management, and programming. The program also prepares students for industry certification exams, including Microsoft networking administration, CompTIA’s A+, Security+, and Network+. Graduates are provided with discounted exam vouchers as well to help aid in furthering their education and careers.

Hill College has a reputation for quality, comprehensive educational programs. As a member of the North Texas Community College Consortium, students enjoy seamless transitions from the AAS to 4-year institutions. Hill College has university partnerships with 15 colleges, providing avenues for collaboration of the Cybersecurity program.

In addition, by partnering with numerous industry leaders, Hill College continues to ensure that students master the skills needed for success in their chosen career paths.
