In honor of Native American Heritage Month - sponsored by the Hill College Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council and Department of Behavioral Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work). 

Annette Anderson is a member of the Indigenous Institute of the Americas (IIA), an all-volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to celebrating and sharing the rich cultural traditions and perspectives of the more than 500 Tribes and Nations of the Americas. As a Native American herself, Ms. Anderson has served as an IIA volunteer in North Texas for over 30 years. In addition, she works as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing child and family counseling and services, and specializing in Native American services.
