Six Hill College Volleyball players selected for NTJCAC Awards

Six Hill College volleyball players were recently selected for the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) Volleyball Awards. Athletes were chosen by volleyball coaches in the NTJCAC.
The following Hill College players earned were selected by the NTJCAC:
Offensive Player of the Year
Alyssa Meyer, sophomore, of Cibolo
First Team All-Conference/All Region
Morgan Burns, sophomore, of La Vernia
Jasmine Sims, freshman, of Graham
Bailey Barnhill, sophomore, of San Angelo
Second Team All-Conference
Sawyer Siemens, freshman, of Helotes
Alyssa Parks, freshman, of Houston
All-Tournament Team
Most Valuable Player- Jasmine Sims

After winning the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region V North tournament, the Hill College volleyball team, which is currently ranked number 14 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I volleyball rankings, will enter the 2018 NJCAA Volleyball National Tournament as the number 12 seed.
The Lady Rebels (27-6) will travel to Hutchinson, Kan., Nov. 15-17, where they will take on number five seed, Iowa Western Community College on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 3 p.m. CST.
