We are getting a makeover!

Over the last two years, a number of projects have been completed that have significantly enhanced campus life for students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

In addition to the extensive updates to the athletics facilities, under the direction of Hill College President Dr. Mills and with the support of the Hill College Board of Regents, the Hill College Century Club, and the Hill College Foundation, the college has endeavored on a multicampus improvement plan.

State-of-the-art updates were made to the Vara Daniel Martin Performing Arts Center. The stage, seating, and flooring were updated as well as the sound and lighting systems. These upgrades allow the college to host high quality community events, the ability to host relevant programming, and other activities such as high school graduations and guest speakers.

Improvements were also made to the Texas Heritage Museum that were necessary for the museum to be accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, including the fire and security systems.

Safety and cosmetic updates were made to the residence halls. Structural maintenance was completed around the library building to prevent erosion. Landscaping and tree maintenance were done to ensure the beautification of the campuses. Security updates were made to the college’s information/technology system. The college was able to secure land acquisitions for future expansion, and improvements are ongoing at the Jerry Norton Wallace Campus in Hillsboro.

These initiatives are rebuilding the future of the college. For more information about what’s going on at Hill College, visit https://www.hillcollege.edu.
