This course covers content that needs to be known for the student to pass the EPA Section 608 Certification exam. Students will be allowed the opportunity to take the certification exam during the last hour of the course. Student will be responsible for direct payment for the examination and should budget $25 and have a credit or debit card to purchase online. Students can also opt for taking the Certification exams at one of Hill College’s Test Centers with prior instructor approval.

Prerequisite: Currently employed in the HVACR industry or instructor approval. Course is intended for individuals with functional knowledge of electricity and electrical safety. This Intermediate Course will provide intensive training in using electrical schematics, electrical meters, and critical thinking to diagnose HVACR and other electrical equipment for control or electrical failures.
