HCSE 1001. Learn Your Sewing Machine (3 hours/$25) 0.3 CEUs

In this class, students will bring their own working sewing machine and learn the basic terminology of his or her machine. With guided help, complete their first project, a mug rug. Students are responsible for the following supplies: fabric, batting, and thread.

HCSE 1001. Beginning Crocheting (4 hours/$35) 0.4 CEUs

Students will learn basic and simple crochet stitches and how to read a crochet pattern. Students will work on small projects such as dishcloths, scarves, scrunchies, and hats. No experience required. Students are responsible for the following supplies: crochet hooks and yarn.
