Hill College’s patient care technician program is a 96-hour program that provides training, skills, and knowledge needed to gain employment as a Patient Care Technician. Students will learn how to assist patients in the acute care setting with activities of daily living; measure vital signs; and communicate effectively with patients, family members, and staff. Students are also prepared to take the National Healthcare Association (NHA) or American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) certification exam. CPR for Healthcare Providers is required. Students are responsible for textbook(s) and supplies.
