Pharmacy Technician Program (208 hours/$1,236) 20.8 CEUs


Hill College is a recognized education/training program for CPhT with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).


Program prepares individuals for entry-level jobs as a Pharmacy Technician in retail and institutional settings. Students will learn to prepare prescription orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, perform applicable pharmacy calculations, and comply with federal and state regulatory agency laws and regulations. Upon completion of this program students will be able to perform all the duties required in any pharmacy practice setting. Students are also prepared to take the certification exam offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The program consists of 208 hours of ONLINE lecture/lab. Students must register in all the classes below upon program entry.  Students are responsible for textbook(s).

Must be 18+ years of age to start the program
High School Diploma or Transcript/GED Certificate
Apply for Pharmacy Technicians Trainee License with Texas Board of Pharmacy
Fingerprint process will begin with the registration for Pharmacy Technicians Trainee License
Valid Driver License or State Identification Card
Social Security Card
Pass Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Background Check
