NC-SARA

Hill College is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), which is an agreement among member states, districts and territories that allows students to take online degree credit courses and programs offered by postsecondary institutions in another NC-SARA participating state. As such, students who are residents of member states may take Hill College courses for credit. Hill College is not authorized to accept online student enrollment from California, a non-NC-SARA member state.

For more information about SARA, and for a current list of members, visit the SARA-Participating Institution Directory

Student complaints relating to consumer protection laws offered under the terms and conditions of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), must first be filed with the institution to seek resolution. If a resolution is not found, the student would contact the institution’s home state SARA Portal Entity. NC-SARA maintains a directory of SARA State Portal Entities. If you are a student who has a complaint about the NC-SARA process, please follow Hill College's formal complaint policy in the college's catalog.
