Program Summary

The Hill College Snap-on Automotive Technology Program at the Cleburne Technical Center is the most technologically advanced auto training center in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and the only one of its kind in Texas! 

Students are trained to deliver the most advanced diagnostic skills needed to service the complex vehicles of today. Students will be fully prepared upon graduation to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification exam. 

The Snap-on Building houses state-of-the-art equipment and tools, a two-story service lab area with 10 car stalls for practical automotive teaching, theoretical and instructional classrooms, training and conference rooms as well as faculty and staff offices. 

Students will receive the best education possible with state-of-the-art, cutting-edge technology and highly trained, specialized faculty.

Program Outcomes

Graduates of the program will be able to:

Implement safety techniques by wearing appropriate safety gear, using equipment properly, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Practice effective interpersonal skills with co-workers and customers, including communicating clearly and working collaboratively.

Conduct oneself with a high degree of professionalism and accountability.

Evaluate, diagnose and repair various automotive systems using appropriate tools and NATEF guidelines.

Access service information using a variety of media.
