Teacher Preparation

In our Teacher Preparation Program, students receive an in-depth understanding of the teaching profession from Pre-K to 12th grade and develop the skills to work effectively with a diverse range of learners. The Associate of Arts in Teaching degree program provides 60 semester credit hours designed to transfer in their entirety to a four-year program that leads to a Texas teacher certification.

Child Development/Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood Development Program is designed to provide students with both academic content and practical work experience for the care and education of young children. This is a stacked certificate/degree program that provides students support in the pursuit of careers in childcare, preschool education, child life specialty, child welfare, and family life advocacy.
